VCPC Conejo Classic 2026

Instead of traditional doubles brackets, teams compete in a format inspired by Major League Pickleball -- with games played to 21 using rally scoring. Rancho Conejo Playfield in the Conejo Valley provides a scenic outdoor venue with the Ventura County hills as a backdrop. Mid-June weather in Newbury Park is warm and sunny, typically in the low 80s, with long daylight hours that allow for extended play schedules. The venue is easily accessible from the 101 freeway and has the parking capacity to handle a tournament field.

Entry fees are TBD for 2026, but VCPC events have historically been affordable. All matches are DUPR-rated, so your results count even in this non-traditional format. The team aspect adds a social element that individual brackets lack -- you will be strategizing with teammates, cheering each other on, and experiencing the ups and downs of competition together.
