The PPA Finals is the crown jewel of the 2026 Professional Pickleball Association season. Held at Life Time Rancho San Clemente, this week-long event awards 2,000 ranking points -- the most of any tournament on the calendar. For professional players, this is where season-long races for the number-one ranking are decided. For amateur competitors, it is the biggest stage you can play on outside of national championships.
Life Time Rancho San Clemente is a world-class athletic facility with dedicated pickleball courts, fitness amenities, and a resort-like atmosphere. The San Clemente location offers gorgeous Southern California weather in early May, with ocean breezes keeping temperatures comfortable even during midday matches. There are plenty of hotels and vacation rentals in the area, and the downtown San Clemente pier district is a short drive away for post-match dining.
The registration deadline is May 2, just two days before the event starts, but do not wait that long -- popular brackets fill up weeks in advance. At $85 for amateur entry, the PPA Finals offers the same pricing as regular tour stops but with a significantly larger field and higher stakes. Championship Sunday features the pro finals on a stadium court with full broadcast production. If you are playing in the amateur draw, try to schedule your matches so you can watch the pros battle it out for the season title.
